JKM Technologies, LLC, is the innovative company behind the CDC Suspension System. Through years of study and research, it has developed patented, long-term improvements in the architecture of basic footwear design.

Led by Dr. D. Casey Kerrigan, who is internationally renown for her research in biomechanics and human movement, the team at JKM is dedicated to re-defining what footwear should be. They have conducted studies to specifically evaluate the biomechanical effects of such factors as different types of dress shoes, athletic shoes, lateral wedge shoe inserts, and off-the-shelf arch support insoles. In addition, they have performed numerous studies of normal walking and running biomechanics using three-dimensional quantitative biomechanical analysis. The result is a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between footwear and the predisposition for musculoskeletal injuries. This understanding then led to the development of JKM's entirely new footwear technology designed to address these factors and provide lasting comfort and health.
